In spite of his sleight of hand, the decision can and should be fixed.
The good news is that it shouldn't be that difficult to do.
One can't blame John Roberts too much because he is not a healthcare guy, and so like many non-healthcare guys he just got suckered into thinking that healthcare insurance is the only and ultimate way to cover healthcare expenses.
Yet, why should we believe that?
We have advances all the time in technology; why not financing of healthcare too?
As a matter of fact, the current model of using insurance to finance healthcare is bad - real bad.
The real problem in the Roberts decision on the ACA, aka Obamacare, isn't necessarily that it required people to purchase healthcare - although it is a problem - but that it required people to purchase healthcare insurance.
A future Supreme Court should modify the Roberts Decision to say that Americans should be required to purchase healthcare coverage.
One simple word.
That one word will make all the difference in the world.
